| | it didn't deserve that much attention either. it's certainly the most shallow online shooter I ever got, with little replay value as well. I can easily figure why they would pull a EA, drop the first one and release a recycled sequel for the holidays. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Sorry, I guess I was horribly wrong. After all, the main feature of the game, the Pantheon, still doesn't even work at all. You can go on the demigod forum, in the journals section and see the stardock CEO apologize for it. Sorry but yes I am adding something: the missing review paragraph stating that online IS BROKEN. | | that's what I'm saying. who owns 75%, if not more, of the video card market? nVidia. who is making no effort whatsoever to push directx10, let alone 11? nVidia. if ATI had not made a dx10 card, the gtx 285 would be dx9, this seems rather obvious to me. nVidia aren't interested in development, they're interested in seeing their logo when a game starts. | The HPA2 set has the features most PC gamers would look for. I must be fair though and state that while the bass output is unmatched in any other kind of headphone, there is minimal hiss coming out of the amp.
I would have been interested to know if these Tritton have a hissy amp as well. Flag this | Edit this post |

| that would mean you played around the same time as ign and gamespot, and they were honest enough to admit that the online component is fubar. even today, 1/6 of the custom games you see in the browser are actual joinable games, only 1/3 of these lobbies will ever take off and get into the game, there is a 1/4 chance that someone will drop while the map loads, all this considering that it can take between 30 seconds and 3 minutes to join a lobby. the pantheon is no help, I have seen several 5v5 games where it was 2v1 and the rest filled with bots, which makes no damn sense considering bot AI is rather idiotic. 3/4 of the forum posts are about online problems.
now I totally understand that these are perhaps temporary issues and that otherwise the game is indeed a 8.5 or so but the vast majority agrees that this game wasn't ready for launch online-wise and nothing is worse for the community of a new game than a shaky start. not necessarily dock points but at least some warning that many gamers can expect a royal pita out of the multiplayer during the early days. it's not like they a lot to do while making the game other than work on the online code considering much the game was jacked from a mod. | yoda blues is right, and additionally 5.1 sets have a dedicated subwoofer, they emulate bass frequencies like it's not possible with a standard set. what's a scam is that you paid over 200$ for your hd555 while it cost sennheiser about 20$ to design and manufacture per pair.
the audiophile pansies are the ones to blame in this situation; because of their sheer ignorance and elitism the 5.1 headphone market fails to take off because you always have some "audiophile" bashing the very existence of surround headphones while at the same time recommending overpriced and overrated sennheiser crap.
I'm an audio technician and I wouldn't exchange my turtle beach's against ANY sennheiser set, no matter how much you'd pay me to do so. Flag this | Edit this post |

| seems expensive, it's main competitor, the turtle beach hpa2, is only 100$. from reading this review I wouldn't think that the tritton set is much better.
I found a good comparison between these and the HPA2. type "AX pro 5.1 VS hpa2" in google, it's on the bollywoodsargam website. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | in 1920x1200 4xAA, this game runs like total crap with a single core even with a 4870 1gb. unless you have at least 3ghz but people like me with a dual core 2.6ghz will benefit greatly from this once it's properly done. Flag this | Edit this post |

| a "hardcore racing simulation", on consoles. hahahahaha, damn EA noobs. there will never be any racing simulation on the consoles, there is no market whatsoever for that.
this being said, I hope that World Online will achieve what TDU tried but failed. Flag this | Edit this post |
