I personally dont have an issue with vista, I just have yet to see any practical advantages over it. It uses more system resources, is less responsive, and overall navigation of the OS is slightly changed. The whole peripheral/driver/software compatability cries are all BS. Some XP drivers do work on vista, and if your stuff is really that old...then get new stuff.

Anyway...I like my XP Pro, especially with nLite where I can cut out features and reduce the size and improve responsiveness of the OS.

The only good game there is AOE3. Bf2 is too old to count.

No, the P5N32E-SLI Plus is both 680i and 650i. It says either 680i or 650i on the box. Definitly strange, but we're not spreading false information.

Nope. There's a 680i version too. I dont know why the name of the board is the same though. All the boards tested were 680i.

Right, the 680i has many more features. However, your 4300 may also reach a slightly more on a good 680i board too.

Nothing will fit in that slot anyway. PCIe x1 TV Tuners, NIC cards, and Physics cards are too long, and will make contact with the cooling.

The stock cooler couldnt handle the voltage/speed of our CPU (3.52GHz @ 1.42V).

I retested the 9700, but the results were the same. Look for the Scythe coolers, Thermaltake Big Typhoon or Coolermaster Hyper 6+ for overclocking.

Not true. Core Temp's readings are taken from motherboard diodes. These all provided different levels of accuracy, which is usually off from real hardware diodes that we used.

Just remember, you have to get a single slot card to use a PCIe TV tuner or wireless card. If you get a dual slot video card, nothing else will fit.

I dont recall saying that one X1950XTX would not fit. Two will obviouslt not fit. The 8800 cards will also not fit. But getting one X1950XTX is fine for all resolutions. TV tuners and wireless cards are available in the PCIe format.

Actually, the 450 watter will be around for a long time. An 8800GTX and a Core 2 quadro CPU only consume 300W on load.

You're not seeing the big picture. The thing is, this SFF is an HTPC, is a gaming rig, and is whatever you want it to be. This will easily suppot dual X1900GT and dual 7950GT (fastest single slot cards)with a quad core CPU with ease. Shuttle's PSUs are the highest quality for an SFF.

Thanks for the support doomtrooper.
