| It's both people. There's a free demo that contains 25% of the content. The full version is $10. Most places offer discounts on Spore though if you buy the full version of the creature Creator.
FWIW, after spending several days with the leaked version of the demo, I'd say that $10 for an extra month with the full version of the creature creator is more than worth it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The Macbook Air is actually pretty reasonably priced when you put it next to similar offerings from other companies like Dell and Sony. Making things so small costs a premium and that LED backlit display and 1.8" HDD are worth a lot more than an optical drive and a USB port.
People seem to want to jump all over this and point out all of the features that it's missing, but they're missing the point. Those kinds of things aren't what a product like this is for. If you need USB ports and optical drives then a regular Macbook or Macbook Pro is the machine for you. A device like this is only for people who demand a truly mobile machine.
That said, I'm in agreement with CAG spitfire. For ultraportables, the EEE PC will fit most peoples' needs for much less money. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Not just retarded, but horribly short sighted. Gamespot may have kept their ad dollars from Eidos, but at the loss of their journalistic integrity. Readers will no longer come to the site if they think that its reviews are just a vessel for PR messages and companies will not advertise on a site with no readers. Smooth move Gamespot. | | I still have most of my original Xbox games, so it's unlikely that I'll buy anything from this service. However, it might be nice for those hard-to-find gems, like Panzer Dragoon, Beyond Good & Evil, and Psychonauts. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | It feels like you're trying to hit on too many details for such a short review. It might read better if you focused and elaborated on some of the more important aspects of the game instead of trying to cover everything. Also, like McStu said, there are quite a few spelling and grammar mistakes. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Very informative and straightforward review. Like exe3 though, I found it very wordy. Also, I felt like you really glossed over the unique personality that Portal just drips with, a very significant part of what makes Portal what it is. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | There's a back story but nothing that really factors into the actual gameplay, and since I was limited to 500 words, I figured it was best to focus on other parts of the game. As I mentioned in the review, this isn't a game for everyone. If you didn't like Galactic Civ 2, you probably won't like Sins of a Solar Empire. It really does play out like a 4X turn based game in real time. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | It doesn't say anything coming from Spike. As someone else already said, this crap is a sham. I mean, Jesus, two of the games on the list aren't even out yet. How do you nominate something for game of the year if you haven't even played it yet? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I find this line a bit worrisome, "Killzone 2 offers a host of new elements that caters to both hardcore and casual gamers alike." What could a game like Killzone, a sci-fi FPS on a $500 system, possibly have to offer casual gamers? To me that line reads like, "we've thrown in some gimped mini-games somewhere". | | I've been playing the beta for about a week now and this game is fantastic. The graphics may not look like much up close, but these shots are all taken with the camera at maximum zoom. Most of the gameplay takes place at a level where you can see an entire planet instead of just the individual ships around it, but the camera can actually be zoomed so far out that you can see several solar systems at once. | gaming is ruled by casuals
There fixed it for you. Seriously, Nancy drew isn't any worse than the legions of terrible movie spin-off games that top the console charts. The day when the industry catered to hardcore gamers is quickly becoming nothing more than a memory. Flag this | Edit this post |
